Hypothetical meeting again, in the appeasement, between a rather relaxed and pleasing Sephiroth and a still frowning Cloud... Obviously, Sephiroth is liberated from the psychological yoke of Jenova ; many are the Fan Fictions which effectively treat od the return of the main FFVII villain, after he found his autonomy and his free will again. A kind of second chance... Will Square Enix be inspired one day by this vox populi ?
Yes, Cloud shows a much thicker musculature than in his various official representations. If he has to be the subduer of a war-beast like Sephiroth, better is worth not to be a shrimp... Sephiroth’s posture, and especially the original manner he maintains its sabre « stowed away », are inspired by the FFVII sketch for Sooj of Mr-Mister. I wanted to place the scene in a ethereal and immaculate environment. The winter landscape of the bottom – which will recall to the players some « northern » region – is inspired by the white line of the Alps as they can be admired from the Mottarone (alt. 1491 m), imposing natural viewpoint overhanging the sumptuous Maggiore Lake, in Italy. Cloud & Sephiroth © Square Enix __________ Hypothétiques retrouvailles, dans l’apaisement, entre un Sephiroth plutôt décontracté et avenant et un Cloud encore un peu renfrogné… Visiblement, Sephiroth s’est affranchi de l’emprise psychologique de Jenova ; nombreuses sont les Fan Fictions qui traitent en effet d’un retour du grand vilain de FFVII, après qu’il ait retrouvé son autonomie et son libre arbitre. Une sorte de deuxième chance… Square Enix cédera-t-il un jour à cette Vox Populi ? Oui, Cloud arbore une musculature bien plus fournie que dans ses diverses représentations officielles. S’il s’agit pour lui d’être le dompteur d’une bête de guerre comme Sephiroth, mieux vaut ne pas être un gringalet… La posture de Sephiroth, et surtout la façon originale avec laquelle il maintient son sabre « rangé », m’a été inspirée par le FFVII sketch for Sooj de Mr-Mister. J’ai voulu placer la scène dans un environnement éthéré et immaculé. Le paysage hivernal du fond – qui doit en l’occurrence évoquer aux inconditionnels du jeu quelque contrée « nordale » – est inspiré de la ligne blanche des Alpes telle qu’on peut l’admirer depuis le Mottarone (alt. 1491 m), grandiose belvédère naturel qui surplombe le somptueux lac Majeur, en Italie. Cloud is kind of strange but he's really nice!
and Yeah, Sephy's a villan but I kind of like him... I think he's a nice person!ahaha... Yeah... it would be nice him being liberated from that! ^^

For the idea of the machism, you astonished me ! Like what, it is
interesting for me to see how a young lady reacts... I must acknowledge you that I however softened his face compared to the draft !
I wanted to give a more voluntary and mature Cloud, even if its glance remains vague and a little dreamer. I liked this aspect of the character in AC (even if its face also hardens in this film, especially towards the end).
And why and how did I "astonish" you?I'm used to see Cloud in other way, but I think your version is correct, to be true..
And yeah... I liked Cloud in AC too.. ^^

I forgot to say : we also say "rebellious lips" (lèvres mutines). This is interesting because in FFVII Cloud is the grain of sand which stops the machine and reverses the system.
Cloud is a little rebellious in his aspect (hair, clothing...) ; Sephiroth's is more representative of the legal combatant, of the order in place...
Nice interpretation of that rebellious thing. And you're right in that point... I've never played FFVII but I know the story... a quite complex one!
And well Sephiroth being the order in place... at least until he got a little mad! ahaha... just kidding... In there he's the order in place! like him, to be true... I think he's a really interesting character.
